6. The Durban Poison of today is not the Durban Poison of 1976

I was there and I've had both.

DP has been contaminated by Indica crosses today. It was commercialized in the 80s and the lower ripening times by crossing with Indica was worth too much money.

The same holds true for most Mexican, Central American, and Columbian land races. There are few pure examples left.
