15. I spent more than 4 hours on the phone today

Jun 2016

talking with friends on both coasts that I have not talked to on the phone in over a year for one couple and three years for the other. One couple is in California and the other couple in Virginia. All four of the women are in their late 40s - early 50s.

Until this campaign they did not even self identify as feminists. Now they are radical feminists who see everything they managed to ignore before.

Both couples wanted to tell me about recent dust-ups at social events where they just had to let it all out. They were a little embarrassed that they have changed the dynamics in their social circles but the reason they called me was to brag about how they woke up, how they stepped up, and that they are not going to take it anymore. I loved it and they all said we fully understand your world view for the first time.

I loved it. They just wanted Mama to know that they finally heard/saw the clanging bells. I warned them they could never turn it off again.

They think that they can spout their crap without challenge. stopbush Jun 2016 #1
