No issues with my wife. I spent gig money for every piece of gear except for one replacement 12 string. I has a Martin with a factory defect and they wouldn't honor the warranty.
I was a multikeyboardist in the bands I played around 1,900 gigs in. So, I had plenty of money for gear. I probably spent only a bit over 60% of the mmoney made on gear, despite a full keys rig, recording gear, my bass & amps.
My wife got a Buick.
