It's definitely an uphill battle and we're unlikely to succeed before her term is up, but we mainly want to make it hard for her to sleep at night with not only the recall effort but an organized letter-writing campaign and so on. The object is to keep attention focused on her every political move. There's some speculation she might even quit if things get too hot for her. It wouldn't be the first time an Alaskan politician has quit under pressure. A former legislator who was at the meeting tonight said that the R's have very little respect for her and are only using her to get their supermajority.
