26. There is nothing special about Trump

I've said all along - he's a common type. He only attracts attention and followers because they think the money he first inherited, then began stealing with broken contracts and fake charities, and now extorts in exchange for 'access to power', proves he's some kind of authority. Also, he validates their hate and gives them permission to act on it.

Every bar has one (with a lot less money). No bar wants to see him come in because nobody will sit within 5 stools of him. He's the crazy guy, world's greatest authority, racist, misogynistic (hates all of humanity, actually, including his followers), and bitter because nobody will recognize how entitled he is. No one can ever admire him enough. He smells bad. He starts fights. And he never shuts up.

He'd actually be at that bar, if it weren't for the people who prop him up for their own purposes. They give him the money. They keep the spotlight on him, let him spew his hate, sane-wash the idiocies and rambling, make sure he gets away with talking out of his filthy ass like a called-upon student who didn't bother to read the assignment. The money and the power are all theirs; they're just letting him use it until he no longer serves their purpose. When he doesn't, he's going to be the most surprised man on the face of this earth. He has no idea how fast it can all disappear.

And the real powerbrokers will walk away and lie in wait for the next one.
