Most Army divisions, if not ALL Army divisions, have Opposing Forces Detachments. These range from two or three people expert in enemy weapons that give classes on them, to company-size units of infantry trained to fight the way the enemy does that serve as the Designated Bad Guy in field exercises.
Most of them have at least a few Soviet-made vehicles. The BTR-60 wheeled personnel carrier we had in the 101st had been "modified" by swapping the Russian engines and transmissions - it has two - for Chevy engines and automatic transmissions we got out of a junkyard. Much more reliable and you can get parts.
Since Trump is planning a Soviet May Day-style parade (just a month and a half later than the communists did theirs) it only makes sense to bring the right kinds of vehicles to it.
