(16,621 posts)21. If they did break protocol, it wasn't just for Trump.
There were plenty of other presidents in the front row other than Trump. They were arranged alphabetically (except for Argentina and Italy), by their country's French names ( e.g., "États-Unis", not "United States" ). Trump was seated with Estonia and Spain (Espagne) on one side of him and Finland and France on the other. The Spanish head (heads?) of state is royalty, the other three I mentioned are presidents.
