best approach for most people. But in my case, I didn't give a damn about my facebook presence at all. If my account got axed, I simply didn't care. I just use social media and general internet reading/responding to fill in 2-3 minutes for a mind break here and there during the day. Theres plenty of internet left if I get banned from facebook (or any other place for that matter).
