nothing new really. Long ago I shut off my facebook account, but before that, I would get these all of the time. I had a different approach though. I always accepted the chats and friend requests, the proceeded to play the dumbest and most gullible naive lonely man possible. Sometimes I could string them along for days while they started begging for money with all sorts of sob stories, while telling me how sexy and awesome I was. The longer you can string them along, the more they explode when they realize you know 1)they are most likely a man and 2) they are scammers.
It's a fun game if you have the time and a little bit of a twisted streak.
I absolutely loath scammers.
