2. I feel the same way, I truly respect his experience and I'm scared witless that he's leaving

We have never had a more experienced president in our history, 36 years in the Senate and 8 years as Obama's trusted VP where he was chosen for his foreign policy experience. And he came along at just the right time, to set things to right after TFG mishandled everything, foreign relations, the pandemic, not to mention stealing classified documents and leading an insurrection to overthrow the government.

President Biden did everything he could to clean up the chaos he was left with, but you could see that he is anxious about what can happen in the next four years with an incompetent leader choosing only those who will surrender their will to him. But we'd be in a lot worse shape if President Biden hadn't put things in place to thwart TFG's worst motives. Biden worked for the people, TFG only works for himself.

As for President Carter, he has always been my favorite president, but President Biden will likely emerge as our best because he had the toughest job. And Lawrence O'Donnell, since he also has experience with and understands how government works, was the best journalist to interview him at this precarious point, since he understands where Biden and our government stand right now.
