It's not an impossible ask, but it is on my list of secondary concerns. Currently, recommending replies just allows the "Recommended" button at the top of the reply tree to highlight any replies which have five or more recommendations. Since this is a new feature (and we had a million other things to do) I wanted to start off simple.

However, I won't rule out that in the future we can do additional things with recommended replies, and putting them on the Greatest page in some way seems like a logical move. I just haven't gotten to that stage yet.

To get the Announcements link in your "Signed in as..." box, just go to the Announcements forum and click the Subscribe button -- it will then appear below the "Subscribed forums" line in the left column.
