24. It's highly unlikely that Biden made that promise to Sanders.

Biden very likely realizes that, in order to go down the exact same road Hillary Clinton did, he should choose a woman of color as the VP. This will help ensure turnout among African Americans, which Biden really needs in states like Michigan. I believe that the Bernie or Bust voters from 2016 who voted for Jill Stein will not be satisfied with a Warren candidacy anyway, and that whatever Biden might gain in choosing Warren would be more than offset in his losses among voters of color who would not come to the polls unless a person of color were on the ticket.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
