The California prison guards union has, in the past anyway, aggressively lobbied against reform. I think other states as well. Also organizations involved with the "Treatment Complex". Barry MacCaffrey comes to mind. I think a lot of the financial support for prohibition is in the form of political contributions to politicians but not identified particularly, as such. Part of the "traditional values&quot tm) package. Rupert Murdock? People with bucks and agendas.
