7. I don't know the nature of the crack in the handle but i always keep a tube of two part

You just mix equal parts then apply to the area. I generally clean the area with alcohol and a cotton ball and then scuff it up with a little sand paper before applying the putty. It creates a super strong bond and you can sand it to smooth out after it dries. I'm guessing there are similar product rhat might a ligher color.
I'm not exagerating that the stuff has probabky saved be a grand or two. The repair is usually stronger then the original part.
