I think virtually all politicians have feet of clay, and our intelligence agencies have the pictures to prove it. Even if a politician is relatively clean, evidence can be manufactured. I think this is one big reason why no politicians since the Church Committee have had the guts to take them on. I think maybe it's why the possibility of prosecutions of the previous administration disappeared so quickly from the table.
