Yes, I have a deep, deep love for all of my family. I know how hard this is on them without me. I have been so grateful at how lucky I was to have such wonderful parents. My S.O. is unable to even communicate with hers, they are simply that dysfunctional and destructive. My parents have made her feel so loved and cherished even though they have only met her the one time on our almost two month trip last fall.
I keep that love in my heart this even as I continue to hope that he will make it through this crisis. I do so want at least one last visit or a few years living near them again before he does die.
