Quite a few patrons were making a slurry of wasabi and soy sauce. I actually gagged when the younger 20-something next to me making his little wasabi dipping sauce. This was just a few months ago while I was called to travel to MN to lead a project at the Mayo Clinic. My colleague from Japan was horrified.
