We've had a few squalls so far. I am probably 150-175 miles away from landfall but we are on the wet east side. You are certainly right about the saturated soils. I saw video on the new the other day about lake Belton and it was defiantly to high. I hear Travis is close to full if not full. Houston is a whole 'nother story. When we lived on the south side in the 70s we would get the hard T-storms in June that would fill the streets with water. I can't imagine what its been like during the recent flooding.
