May I please ask for prayers for my nephew? [View all]
His name is Orion and he lives in Portland, Oregon. He is a dialysis patient who is having problems with his dialysis port. He is 38 years old and has been on dialysis since he was 18 years old. He has "worn out" 3 of his 4 dialysis ports (2 arms and 1 leg) and is having problems with his 4th (and last) possible access site.
He currently is experiencing circulation problems in the leg to the extent that his foot in in danger. I'm not sure if it's the right foot or the left foot. His foot is turning black and there is a very real possibility that he will lose all or a portion of the foot. The pain in unbearable and he is currently in the hospital and on 3 different pain medications in an attempt to control the pain.
He's very close to being put on the kidney transplant program, which is what he really needs, but that's on hold now due to these problems and some other issues.
Please send some prayers his way, he needs all the help he can get, the most critical being both the dialysis port and his foot.
