1. Yes, in Punta do Este for one day in.. 1965.

I don't remember much except that we - my parents and myself - were impressed.

I vaguely remember when we were there a body of someone - a Nazi? - was discovered in a suitcase.

It was discouraging, in the 70s, to find out that Uruguay was ruled by a junta. In the 60s it was considered the most democratic country in South America.

I will have to google about the body in the suitcase.
