Anyone familiar with the "Recovery Version" of the Bible? [View all]

I got a card in the mail to get a free copy of the "Recovery Version" of the New Testament. I had never even heard of this one. Anyone know anything about it? It doesn't seem to have anything to do with "recovery" in the sense of "being in recovery from (whatever)". These free copies are distributed by a group called "Bibles for America" (www.bfa.org), which seems to be not the publishers/translators but a separate group.
