This post is a great illustration of the severe disconnect between most people who practice "survival fantasy" and real-life, actual survival preparation.
Downloaded survival app for Android, it's very useful. Has a detailed list of things including stuff like bayite ferro rod to pack already and a guide on what to do in a survival situation.
