Body pains [View all]

GREEN BAY – Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (toe) was back at practice Friday, his first on-field work since practicing in a limited capacity on Dec. 10.

Meanwhile, Green Bay has ruled out cornerback Jaire Alexander (shoulder), and tackles David Bakhtiari (knee) and Billy Turner (knee) for Sunday night's game against the Minnesota Vikings. Defensive lineman Tyler Lancaster (back) is questionable after returning to practice on Friday.

In addition to Rodgers, running back Aaron Jones (knee) and tight end Dominique Dafney (ankle) didn't receive a game status and are expected to be available.

The Vikings will be without starting quarterback Kirk Cousins, who was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday. Backup Sean Mannion was activated off the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday and will start.

Minnesota listed cornerback Cameron Dantzler (calf) as doubtful. Defensive tackle Michael Pierce was added to the injury report Friday with an illness and is questionable.

Tight end Tyler Conklin (hamstring) and linebacker Chazz Surratt (illness) are also questionable.

Four Vikings players did not release a game status and are expected to be available: safety Harrison Smith (foot/shoulder), fullback C.J. Ham (hamstring), and running backs Dalvin Cook (illness) Kene Nwangwu (hamstring).

I've never seen players referred to by their aching body parts.
