It's definitely one of the saddest and spookiest places I've ever been and a place where white folks need to own up to their part of the narrative. I can still see the description of the "merchandise" according to temperament and body structure written in oh so polite copperplate script.

I was nine when I saw it and it's haunted me ever since.
