3. --- aw, why not. My cousin has a vacation house in Vermont and an employee who is not too bright.

He bought a new wood stove for the house. Told Steve that the new stove is so efficient, you can load it, fire it up today and it will still have embers weeks later.

He invites Steve up for a weekend and calls the neighbor to light up the stove so it will be warm when they get there. This is standard practice.

Four hours later, they arrive at the place. Walk in and sure enough, there are warm embers in the stove.

"See, didn't I tell you it could keep going for weeks?

Steve: pausing for reflection -- "Aw, you can't fool me. You were up here last week."
