Our gun homicide rate is closer to three, not 10.5. Our murder rates was 4.8 That is our gun death rate, which includes suicides, justifiable homicides, and and stupidity.
Their gangs are like the Mob or Yakusa, which are nothing like street and biker gangs, which are more violent.
And yet... Almost no gun violence in Europe. Despite the 10s of thousands of gang members. Or in Asia. Despite the huge numbers of gang members.
street gangs and the Mob are not the same thing. Also, there are a lot of illegal guns in Europe. You can't seriously claim that gun laws have anything to do with their "business practices" since they ARE in the illegal gun and drug business. That is one reason when there are gun crimes, they are more likely to use machine guns than ours do. Another reason is their "corporate culture" discourages violence, and have nothing in common with the Crips, Bloods, MS13, various biker gangs where violence for violence's sake is part of theirs. Equating them is absurd.
By your estimation it should have a dramatically higher gun homicide rate.
No, because the types of gangs, see above, and the cultures are completely different. BTW, why do countries like Mexico, Brazil, Jamaica, USVI, Venezuela all have stricter gun control laws than anywhere in Europe, including UK, yet their murder rates are astronomical? Like Detroit, Baltimore, etc?
Also, UK and much of Europe under reports their actual statistics, see rapes in Germany during New Years Eve.

That's a good first option, I believe in the USMC rules for gun fighting...
