Our "moral and intellectual betters" can easily read between the lines and see the promotion of AR15s, guns for children, suppressors for hunting, et. al., inherent in those few lines.

Just like the fundies on sex ed, just say no, ignore it and it will all go away.

My favorite comment was one that compared the Eddie Eagle figure to Joe Camel. Yeah, that analogy works, one discouraging any contact with an item, the other promoting it vigorously. That's the same thing.

Besides, if the kids actually learned more about gun safety, they couldn't wave that bloody shirt for every gun related accident as often.
