Should marijuana be legal? Why or why not? [View all]

I was pleasently surprised that two states legalized marijuana use the last election. And not just medical, but personal use for adults. I didn't think I'd see it but I think it's the right move for a number reasons. Contrary to the myth, marijuana has not been shown to be a gateway drug and the savings in arresting and incarcerating users of this drugs would save millions.
