The offensive email, which was allegedly sent during last year’s fraternity spring rush period, used racial slurs to tell the email’s recipients not to invite black, Indian and Asian women to a rush party “unless they’re hot.”

The student referenced sexual assault when he wrote “erect, assert, and insert, and above all else, f--- consent.”

I think the university of Maryland needs to update their policies, if telling frat members to commit rape is not a violation of their policies. There simply is no other way to read 'fuck consent' other than as incitement to commit rape.

(Edit: Btw, I'm not simply ignoring the racial bigotry. But expressing such is legal, and is not, in itself, incitement of a legal crime, even if it reinforces racist behaviour in society.)
