Kids can be so tough, it’s certainly not all milk and honey. It sounds like you have given so much to your child, and so far, your sacrifices haven’t been recognized or appreciated. You have been as good a mom as you could, and that’s something to be proud of, even if your child can’t see it. Don’t succumb to despair, you are more than somebody’s mother. Find other things that give you pleasure and try to do them. And realize that other people feel like you do, with secret and not so secret issues of their own that burden them.
