Hope your refrigerated and frozen foods survived!

We lose power at our mountain house about once a month. Several years ago, I bit the bullet and had a 12 kilowatt automatic generator installed. If the power is interrupted, the machine kicks on and runs the whole house. It is fueled from our propane tank and it’s been especially effective in the winter because it keeps the heat on. It was monstrously expensive but it has saved us numerous times.

Glad you’re back in the modern world!

For dinner, the Landlady is making something pork in the crockpot. Mashed potatoes and a salad. Chocolate chip cookies.
