a lot of extra responsibilities and working around a whole set of details and demands on top of everything you’re already doing, based on the fact that you have to do it because he won’t. “If he gets frustrated, bored or feels too isolated, he'll just quit.” So now you’re responsible for his health. This level of caregiving can be extremely stressful. Don’t forget about yourself and your own health.
