6. Sauerkraut. Home made. Mashed potatoes. Shredded the cabbage in a 10 gallon crock a month ago.

Shred it, add salt, beat it down, repeat. Wait for it to ferment. Made 34 quarts and canned them yesterday.
Cabbage cutter is close to 100 years old. Turned out great. Will give some away and the rest will last at least two years.
Does anyone else do this?
