1. I know they made dinnerware but not cookware

and I'm afraid all I can envision is a puddle of melted plastic on the stovetop or in the oven.

My mother had all sorts of the stuff. After my parents died, all I could think was how much money it would have sold for in NYC, a lot of it looked like Jetsons stuff.

I have a knee jerk reaction against it, probably because my mother hated cooking so much. I favor Corelle, I have the drops and can't manage other kinds of dinnerware. I didn't know melamine ware hated microwaves. It's just as well.
