1. Well that reminds me of a favorite recipe I've made for decades

Artichoke squares, made with chopped marinated artichoke hearts, beaten whole eggs, shredded sharp cheddar cheese and sauteed onion. Mix it all up and bake and then eat it room temp or chilled.

That article gave me the idea to slow bake the artichokes first, to concentrate their flavor. I think I will try that when next I make them. And perhaps even try putting them in bread for a sandwich!
