16. I've stopped making the Irish buttered potato soup my mom taught me

Started making potato leek soup instead.

It's a bit more prep work because you are dealing with leaks, but the soup is better.

I figure it counts as the food of (platonic) love since I make it for relatives and friends all the time.

In fact, I have a standing list of folks who want a couple quarts every Thanksgiving and Christmas, so I make a couple chili cauldrons' worth every fall.

This is the recipe I use, except I use Krakow Nights and I skip the Rosemary. I use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream too.
