7. I can see why learning that they contacted the dentist who harmed you was a shock.

But it doesn't surprise me at all that the oral surgeon would want those records so as to have the total picture. It sounds like they were doing their due diligence, which I think is a very good sign that they know what they're doing. I would take comfort in that, and if the dentist's office staff were rattled by it, that's their problem.

Sorry you're still in pain for now. Do you know when you will be seeing the oral surgeon? (I can't recall if you mentioned that already, but I hope it's soon!)

Oral surgery is usually done under sedation, by the way, so you won't feel a thing when they're working on you, and you'll be taking painkillers and probably antibiotics afterward. Even though you're scared, I'm excited for you, because I think this is likely going to be the answer to what's been causing all your problems.
