My bladder cancer would not respond to either chemo or radiation. I was left with one solution, surgery. I opted for the option three, the most radical solution, but after almost eight years I was not fooling around. Between colon cancer surgery in 2017 and the series of three tumorectomies, two courses of BCG infusions - I felt we had to just plain get at it. And it worked, June 19 is six years since my last surgery and I was told last year that there was no evidence of a cancer cell in me.
Your support to your son is the best therapy he can get. I have an idea of how invested in your son's health you are, my wife deserves sainthood for all she's done and put up with, I know you're on the list, too.
Please, all you all feel free to contact me if you ever need some cheering on. My wife would be glad to talk to you, too.
