And I think I'm starting to get a topic idea from that standpoint, that we freely give of ourselves even though the messages in life/our old way of thinking were often to just do for ourselves and forget about others. That could develop into something! [/font]

Yes indeed ... Bill W. was a communitarian and socialist by the standards of today's RepubliCON politics -- concepts like our personal Step 12 work never being paid; and that (to a rightie) jibber jabber about the "lest problems of money, property, and prestige divert us from our primary purpose" in Tradition 6 (isn't everything supposed to be all about money? What other purpose for anything could there possibly be? LOL). Tradition 2 on service, not governance... and then all that "we" stuff, so contrary to "rugged individualism".

No suggestions in the literature about selling access to the calendar at free market rates (highest bidders getting first access of course), or selling copies of the phone list for a quarter, or buying one's way out of service work ...
