The question is do we want a cure?

Imagine you could take a pill that would take any current and future cravings for ETOH (chem symbol for alcohol)

Would you take it?

Our first answer would be yes, but then there's that little voice in the back of our head. The one that came from the addiction that would scream "no!"

No bones about it, being drunk was fun. Being completely shnockered and passing out at the keyboard was FUN.

I was an "I drink alone" type

It killed the self doubt and self loathing

It also killed ME

And if you look at what ETOH does on a molecular level to your body, you'd probably never touch it in the first place. It literally short circuits the neurons in your brain. High by brute force.

But yeah, I want that pill
