Rian Johnson has now delivered not only my favorite movie of 2022 but also an early contender for favorite TV series of 2023.
Natasha Lyonne plays a card shark who can tell when people are lying. On the run from a Vegas mob boss, she’s traveling from town to town solving murders.
Lyonne is channeling Columbo in her investigations, and the show has a lot of nods to 70s TV like Incredible Hulk, or even further back to The Fugitive. It’s packed with guest stars as well.
First four eps are on Peacock Premium. The first is available to everyone as well.
