2. It impacts more than just the targeted.

It impacts their family members, too. We live in Colorado an LGBTQ+ friendly state, yet I'm still a nervous wreck for my son and his boyfriend. The Club Q shooting happened in Colorado Springs and could happen anywhere. It is never far from my mind and I know it's having an effect on my health. I feel not only for those targeted but for their family members.
