from the supreme leader on down. this will not change with "moderates" like Rouhani approved by the Supreme Leader and the council of mullahs. The next Supreme Leader is not going to be any more moderate. Even though they are our new bff, it would be better not to give cover to such evil, let alone nuclear research and something in excess of $100B. Oh, but the Iranian people love living under the Supreme Leader, right? No, wrong. If western leaders will not take Iran's statements seriously, how are we to take western leaders seriously?

Now, try to imagine the responses from peace and rights loving progressives at DU - silent about this story - if Israel had said the same things about Iran.
