The German Constitution is not perfect but it has this power to designate extremist groups for a very important reason.

After America (hopefully) survives MAGA and Trumpism and emerges from the suffering and carnage - the future American Constitution will need to have these protections too so Trumpism never rears its hateful dangerous head again.
