And when unstable region of Kursk got its new governor 7 months ago, his role was predetermined from the beginning. He was installed there to take the blame and get kicked out in the future. That is precisely what happened in the middle of April 2025, when one of Putin's most trusted confidants got purged. Putin's paranoia grows.
