The production figures year after year show that we are still consuming oil far faster than it is being replenished. So abiotic or not, the supplies are running out.

Suppose the water pipe leading into your home only supplied 1 gallon per day. Could you run a household on that? It doesn't matter whether there is new oil being created or not if it's not being created fast enough, and it's pretty obvious that it's not being created fast enough. So in the final analysis, even if oil were being produce abiotically, it wouldn't matter.
