Fear of homelessness [View all]
Anyone else fear becoming homeless? I do. I worked with then ten yrs. Saw a lot. Helped as best I could. Saw good ppl hit a bump in the road and end up homeless.
My Dr told me to reach out to family members to see if I could rely on them. Turns out no. Real slap in the face. Esp from cousin. Thought Id hear don't worry, I'll be here for you etc. Nope. Got a lecture on how mental illness and addictions bring about home lessness. Not having enough money to live also causes it. Believe me.
Today I reached out to FRIENDS who told me we'd figure something out. Friends not family.
