I think this is the same Pete Coker who was a college basketball star at NC State in the mid-60s. His bio says he has decades of his experience in pension management and business acquisitions, currently lives in Chapel Hill, NC, and makes frequent trips to Hong Kong.

Sounds like he made plenty of $$$ legitimately. I guess for some people, enough money to be comfortable isn’t enough.
