U S governments training of "future leaders" has led to this problem. Most have gone on to dominate the drug trade and inflect tremendous horror on the population.

Iran contra? Few remember.
Any discussion of solving the boarder crisis needs to start with admitting that secret US policies during the Reagan years is why we have this problem.
