Residents in the southeastern Mexico state of Tabasco took matters into their own hands after they busted two men they accused of stealing.

The suspects were apprehend by a group of neighbors after they were spotted trying to steal a motorcycle in the municipality of Cunduacán on Tuesday.

Instead of calling the police, the group stripped the men naked and forced them to walk barefooted down a street in the Tierra y Libertad village.

One of the suspects was seen in a video carrying a sign wrapped around covering his chest and genitals and walking with a sign that read, 'This happened to me for stealing.'

The alleged perp approached a motorist who told him, 'This happened because you were stealing.'
